Melanie was born in Grants Pass, Oregon and grew up in the Portland area. She started her career at a young age by volunteering at the local Nursing Facility, went on to get her degree in Psychology and discovered her passion for working with those in need. The Gorge became home to her and her daughter in 2012 and she is happy to use her skills to support the I/DD industry to continue to progress into the future. When not working, Melanie loves the arts, swimming and being in nature.
