Jonathan

Jonathan has been a customer with EOSSB since 2016. He was previously employed at a job that he no longer enjoyed and wanted to make a positive change in his life, so he reached out to his Personal Agent for support. A referral was made to Vocational Rehab to assist Jonathan in his employment goals. With support from his Personal Agent and Vocational Rehabilitation, Johnathon began exploring his next career goal, utilizing the Discovery program. Johnathon worked with Employment Options which allowed Johnathon to explore three different jobs that caught his interest. After Johnathon completed his Discovery profile, he choice to apply at The Home Depot, one of the jobs he had enjoyed during his Discovery. On his own, Johnathon applied at The Home Depot and was called in for an interview, which he completed independently. After Johnathon’s interview with Home Depot on a Friday, he was contacted the following Monday and was informed he had been hired. Johnathon worked with his Personal Agent and his Vocational Rehabilitation counselor in obtaining employment supports and assistance in obtaining a bike that would help him get to and from work independently. Johnathon is successful in his job now with guidance from natural supports that help give him the opportunity to thrive in the workplace. Johnathon is content working in the Garden Center at Home Depot and hopes to grow within the Company once he is ready.
